Clément Huart (1854 – 1926) French orientalist.

After 23 years in consular services in Damascus and Constantinople he became professor of Persian at the Ecole des langes orientales vivantes in Paris in 1898 and in Islam and religions of Arabia at the École des hautes études 1908.  Among his many works are: Littérature arabe (1902), Histoire des arabes (2 bands, 1912-13) and Bibliographie Ottomane (6 parts, 1887-91).
